Job Description

The Sales Manager at Sheraton Kota Kinabalu oversees daily sales activities in a dynamic hospitality environment. This position requires collaboration with off-property sales channels and engagement with the community to drive business success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate and manage sales opportunities to ensure timely business turnover.
  • Lead day-to-day sales activities focused on customer relationship building.
  • Collaborate with off-property sales channels to maximize outreach.
  • Build relationships within the community and with key stakeholders.
  • Participate in sales calls to promote hotel services.
  • Support operational aspects of booked business to ensure service delivery.
  • Analyze market trends and competitors to inform sales strategies.

Job Requirements

Must have a 2-year degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or a related major with 3 years of experience in sales and marketing, or a 4-year bachelor's degree in the same fields with 1 year of experience.

Strong ability to build and strengthen customer relationships.

Understanding of market trends and customer service expectations.

Proven ability to support and execute customer service standards.

Effective communication and teamwork skills.
