Role Summary

The Security Attendant is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the Sheraton Kota Kinabalu property. This role involves active monitoring and response to incidents, contributing to a safe environment for guests and staff.

Job Description

As a Security Attendant at Sheraton Kota Kinabalu, you will engage in daily patrols, monitor security systems, and conduct inspections to identify potential hazards. You will also respond to emergencies and assist guests and employees as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patrol property areas to ensure safety and security.
  • Monitor security systems including CCTV and alarms.
  • Conduct physical hazard inspections regularly.
  • Respond to accidents and provide first aid or CPR when necessary.
  • Document incidents and maintain accurate reports.
  • Resolve safety hazards promptly and effectively.
  • Maintain professional conduct and confidentiality at all times.

Job Requirements

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.

Willingness to undergo safety training and obtain necessary certifications.

Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 lbs independently.

Strong communication skills for clear verbal and written reporting.

Proficiency in using computers or point-of-sale systems.
