Job Description
The Senior ABAP Developer role is focused on developing SAP RICEF objects including reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms across SAP modules. The position involves managing integration and technical tasks across teams, maintaining scripts for interfaces, collaborating with technical teams on integration architecture, configuring SAP PI NetWeaver and SAP Fiori, supporting SAP systems especially in development and integration with third parties, and guiding junior programmers. The role also includes participating in SAP projects through tasks like writing technical specifications, ABAP coding, testing, and conducting technical training.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology/Systems or Engineering.
At least 2-3 years SAP experience in the area of ABAP.
Possess excellent analytical, communication, presentation and soft skills.
Able to communicate well in English.
Able to write clearly and concisely and work within tight deadlines.
Able to work extended hours when necessary.
Possess personal attributes such as maturity, interpersonal skills, professional integrity and initiative.
Challenges change requests for ABAP to ensure they are practical and in line with standard SAP where possible.
Keen to learn, a team player and have good working attitude.
MS Office (Excel, Word, Project, PowerPoint, Access, Visio) skills.
