
The Senior Analyst, Data Governance will support the implementation of data governance frameworks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. This role involves collaboration with stakeholders to promote a strong data governance culture and effective management of data as a strategic asset.
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented professional to join our organisation as a Senior Analyst, Data Governance. This role is responsible for supporting the implementation and continuous enhancement of the Group’s data governance framework, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements, internal policies and industry best practices. The incumbent will play a key role in driving governance adoption across the organisation, strengthening data stewardship practices and embedding robust data management standards across business and technology functions.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, Computer/Data Science, Business, or related discipline
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in data governance, data management, data analytics, or related roles
Experience in implementing or supporting data governance frameworks and programmes
Good understanding of data governance principles (e.g., DAMA/DMBoK, data quality, metadata, data lifecycle)
Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements (e.g., BNM, PDPA, MAS), preferably within financial services
Professional certifications (e.g., CIMP, CDMP) are an added advantage
Experience working in large-scale or regulated environments is preferred
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
