The Senior Associate - Compliance Consultant (AWMS) is responsible for supporting clients in the asset and wealth management sector with regulatory compliance and risk management. This role involves working closely with asset and wealth managers to enhance internal controls and compliance frameworks.
Job Description
In this role, you will engage with clients daily, providing insights and recommendations on compliance and risk management practices. You will be part of a dynamic team within the Risk & Compliance Solutions practice, contributing to the development of robust governance structures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support clients in regulatory compliance and internal audit reviews.
- Conduct assessments of business processes and control environments.
- Provide regulatory advice tailored to client needs.
- Develop and implement enterprise risk management frameworks.
- Strengthen compliance frameworks for asset and wealth management.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to optimize risk management strategies.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local regulatory requirements.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Commerce, Business or a related discipline from a local or overseas university
At least 2 years of experience in regulatory compliance, internal audit, external audit, or risk and controls
Good understanding and interest in the asset management and/or private wealth management landscape
Knowledge of local regulatory requirements for capital markets intermediaries
Meticulous with strong attention to detail
Professional, confident and a highly motivated self-starter
Able to work under pressure and manage tight deadlines
