Role Summary
The Senior Executive/Assistant Manager, Supplier Value & Risk Management is responsible for leading and managing DRB-HICOM’s Supplier Value & Risk Management function. This role plays a critical part in ensuring effective supplier performance evaluation and risk management across the organization.
Job Description
In this position, you will engage in day-to-day activities that involve collaboration with various subsidiaries to ensure compliance and timely reporting. You will also support procurement leadership with analytics and insights to drive supplier performance improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Vendor Performance Evaluations to assess supplier capabilities.
- Develop and implement a Supplier Risk Management framework.
- Conduct thorough supplier screenings to identify potential risks.
- Manage supplier segmentation to optimize procurement strategies.
- Collaborate with subsidiaries to ensure compliance with procurement policies.
- Provide analytics and insights to support procurement leadership decisions.
- Monitor and report on supplier performance metrics.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field.
Minimum 5–7 years experience in procurement, supplier management, or risk management.
Strong understanding of procurement and supplier management principles.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Detail-oriented with a structured approach to documentation and reporting.
Experience in Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) or procurement governance preferred.
