Senior Executive, Finance – Sime Darby Motors

This role is for a Senior Executive in Finance responsible for managing financial reporting and consolidation for a major company. The position involves leading the finance team and ensuring financial accuracy and compliance through various reporting and analysis tasks, including tax filings and coordination with auditors.

The role involves preparing timely and accurate monthly, interim, and yearly consolidated management accounts for the group, including financial analysis to report to management and stakeholders. The position also includes preparing financial reports for business management, such as consolidated management reporting after month-end closing, quarterly branch financial reporting, budgeting, rolling forecasts, and projections for the company's legal entities. Additional responsibilities include submitting annual income tax and quarterly indirect tax filings to authorities, preparing statutory financial statements, conducting financial analysis of inventory procurement, monitoring capital requirements, managing the finance team, liaising with shared services for accounting issues, supervising special projects, and coordinating with external auditors and tax agents to ensure audit and tax processes are completed on time with no findings.
