Senior Executive, Finance at Sime Darby Motors - Kuala Lumpur

The Senior Executive, Finance is responsible for preparing timely and accurate financial reports for the group. This role plays a crucial part in financial analysis and reporting to management and stakeholders, ensuring compliance and effective financial management.

In this role, you will engage in the preparation of consolidated management accounts and financial reports, working closely with the finance team and management. You will also oversee various financial processes and ensure timely submissions to authorities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare timely and accurate monthly, interim, and yearly consolidated management accounts.
• Conduct financial analysis to report to management and stakeholders.
• Prepare financial reports for business management, including consolidated management reporting after month-end closing.
• Manage quarterly branch financial reporting, budgeting, rolling forecasts, and projections.
• Submit annual income tax and quarterly indirect tax filings to authorities.
• Prepare statutory financial statements and conduct financial analysis of inventory procurement.
• Monitor capital requirements and manage the finance team.
• Liaise with shared services for accounting issues and supervise special projects.
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax agents to ensure timely completion of audit and tax processes.
