Role Summary
The Senior IT Engineer - Enterprise Defence is responsible for leading the design, implementation, and management of endpoint and perimeter security solutions. This role plays a critical part in safeguarding digital assets and ensuring the integrity, availability, and confidentiality of infrastructure against evolving cyber threats.

In this role, you will engage in the day-to-day management of security solutions, collaborating with technical teams to enhance the organization's cybersecurity posture. You will work in a dynamic environment focused on strategic initiatives to protect against cyber threats.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and implementation of endpoint and perimeter security solutions.
- Manage and monitor security tools and technologies to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess and mitigate security risks.
- Develop and enforce security policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities.
- Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends and threats.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior security staff.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or relevant fields.
Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, CCNP Security, or equivalent.
6+ years of experience in IT security, with at least 2 years in a leadership role specializing in endpoint and perimeter security.
Proven track record in deploying and managing advanced security tools and technologies.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with a focus on risk assessment.
