Role Summary
The Senior SAP Specialist - SD is responsible for acting as an SAP consultant for the rollout, implementation, and support of Sales and Distribution applications. This role is integral to the global IT Competence Center, focusing on the APAC region while participating in global projects.
Job Description
In this role, you will engage in day-to-day activities that involve consulting on SAP solutions and managing IT projects within a collaborative team environment. You will be based at the Continental Tire IT Hub in Petaling Jaya, working closely with international teams to deliver effective solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as an SAP consultant for Sales and Distribution applications.
- Manage the rollout and implementation of SAP solutions.
- Provide ongoing support for SAP SD applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on global projects.
- Oversee IT project management tasks.
- Analyze and resolve issues related to SAP SD functionalities.
- Ensure compliance with best practices in SAP implementations.
Job Requirements
Degree in Information Technology or a related field.
At least 7 years of IT working experience, with a minimum of 5 years in SAP SD project and support.
Knowledge of SAP S/4 HANA is an advantage.
ABAP knowledge is a plus.
Proficiency in English is essential.
Experience in IT Project Management.
Strong communication skills and ability to work in a diverse international team.
