Job Description
The Senior Software Engineer - Web Technologies role at Genting Malaysia Berhad involves performing requirement gathering, system analysis and design, application development, and integration. The position also includes software quality control activities such as preparing test plans, conducting functional, load, and performance testing, security adherence, and code review. The role requires carrying out research on new technologies, technical documentation, application implementation, and support activities, while contributing to improving application design, development, and user experience.
Job Requirements
Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent with knowledge or experience in Microsoft C#, ASP.NET, and SQL.
Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience developing applications in Microsoft C# and SQL.
Knowledge of DevOps, C#, SQL, ASP.NET, HTML5, Javascript, JQuery, JSON/XML, Angular, nodeJS, DevOps, and cloud technologies.
Strong mobile UI design, business logic, and database development skills including prototyping.
Good knowledge of SDLC and design techniques.
Well versed in relational database design and implementation.
Positive, hardworking, and able to meet tight deadlines.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.
Motivated self-starter with high attention to detail.
Demonstrated interest in technology, technology-related issues, and analytical analysis.
