Senior Specialist, Cyber Defense at GXBank - Kuala Lumpur

The Senior Specialist, Cyber Defense is responsible for leading investigations into cybersecurity incidents. This role plays a critical part in managing the response process and ensuring effective communication within the Incident Management team.

As a Senior Specialist in Cyber Defense, you will engage in day-to-day activities that involve managing cybersecurity incidents and conducting thorough analyses. You will work closely with both internal and external teams to ensure a robust cybersecurity posture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead investigations of cybersecurity incidents from escalation to reporting
• Conduct live response analysis, network analysis, and log analysis
• Communicate investigative progress and findings to the Incident Management team
• Manage incident intake using the internal case management system
• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert in cybersecurity meetings
• Collaborate with the Security Operations Center on incident management
• Develop and implement strategies for incident response and remediation
