The Sourcing & Procurement - New Product Development Executive is responsible for driving the sourcing and procurement processes for new product development initiatives. This role plays a crucial part in exploring opportunities and trends within the FMCG, healthcare, and personal care industries.
Job Description
In this role, you will engage in day-to-day activities that involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and develop new products. You will work in a dynamic environment that encourages innovation and strategic thinking.
Key Responsibilities:
- Explore market opportunities and trends to inform product development.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on product specifications.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors.
- Analyze procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Assist in the negotiation of contracts and agreements.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities.
- Support the product development lifecycle from concept to launch.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or related field.
1–4 years’ experience in procurement, brand executive, product development or related roles.
Exposure to FMCG, healthcare, medical devices, or personal care industries is an advantage.
Experience coordinating cross-functional projects is preferred.
