The Sourcing Specialist is responsible for managing the end-to-end sourcing process to support the procurement of goods and services at the best value. This role requires collaboration with internal stakeholders to ensure supplier performance meets expectations in terms of cost, quality, and delivery.
Job Description
In this role at CelcomDigi, you will engage in daily activities that involve identifying potential suppliers, evaluating proposals, and negotiating contracts. You will ensure that the procurement process aligns with company standards and supports overall business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end sourcing process for goods and services.
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers to ensure best value.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with selected suppliers.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand procurement requirements.
- Monitor supplier performance in terms of cost, quality, and delivery.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement standards and policies.
- Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities in sourcing.
Job Requirements
Min 3-5 years of core sourcing experience.
Professional certifications such as CIPS, CPSM or similar are a plus.
Strong negotiation skills and communication abilities.
Proficiency in procurement software and tools e.g. Coupa, SAP.
Proven track record in strategic sourcing and supplier management.
