The Spare Part Assistant is responsible for supporting the operations of CARSOME Certified Lab by managing daily spare parts activities. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring efficient inventory control and maintaining safety standards within the store.
Job Description
The Spare Part Assistant will engage in day-to-day operations that include receiving shipments, checking for discrepancies, and managing stock movements. The work environment is fast-paced, requiring attention to detail and effective communication with team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect shipments for discrepancies.
- Record stock movements accurately in the inventory system.
- Ensure proper storage of spare parts to maintain safety standards.
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages to management.
- Document damaged parts and coordinate with suppliers for replacements.
- Assist with spare parts inquiries from internal teams and customers.
- Support purchasing activities as needed.
Job Requirements
A tertiary qualification or equivalent.
At least 2 years of experience in warehouse/store and inventory operations.
Strong integrity and ability to work independently.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Good numeracy skills.
