Role Summary
The Test Lead is responsible for overseeing the testing processes and ensuring the quality of software products. This role plays a critical part in collaborating with development teams and enhancing testing methodologies within a dynamic work environment.
Job Description
In this role, you will engage in daily activities that include preparing detailed test plans, designing automation frameworks, and executing test scripts. You will work closely with various teams to mitigate risks and improve testing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed SIT test plans and test reports.
- Design automation frameworks for efficient testing.
- Develop and execute test scripts for software applications.
- Perform technical test execution activities.
- Collaborate with development teams to enhance product quality.
- Assign tasks and plan test execution effectively.
- Reverse engineer requirements to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Assist the Test Manager in test estimation and process improvements.
Job Requirements
Possess a Diploma or Degree in Information Technology or related field.
Minimum of 4 years of working experience in software testing.
At least 2 years of hands-on experience in automation testing using Selenium/Appium and UFT.
Experience in creating and executing test scenarios for mobile software products.
Familiarity with testing tools and methodologies such as JIRA and HP LoadRunner.
Knowledge of TMMi Testing Framework is an added advantage.
Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL) certification is preferred.
