Job Description
In this position, the Vessel Manager will engage in the daily management of LNG carriers, focusing on operational efficiency and safety protocols. The role requires collaboration with various teams to maintain high standards of vessel performance and environmental responsibility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the safe operation of LNG vessels in compliance with regulations.
- Monitor and optimize vessel performance and efficiency.
- Coordinate with the Fleet Manager during the absence of a Vessel Manager.
- Implement environmental management practices on board.
- Conduct regular safety drills and training for crew members.
- Liaise with port authorities and other stakeholders.
- Prepare and review operational reports and documentation.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering or related field.
Relevant certifications in maritime safety and operations.
Experience in vessel management or maritime operations.
Strong understanding of LNG operations and regulations.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
