Backend developer
Snacks but they are unhealthy Desk is wide Friendly coworkers Water dispenser Career growth opportunities
Low salary for job scope. Location is not public transport friendly, have to drive and usually very jam and no parking. Lunch is a problem, have to drive out or skip lunch. Project managers have very high turnover rate. Overworking is the norm, expect it and don’t think about being compensated for it. Favouritism occurs here, some will get special treatment. Temperature will get hotter as they turn off their air conditioners early, advised to bring your own desk fan.
Software engineer
- Nice and friendly colleagues, willing to teach - Can learn a lot from project
- Poor project management causing project timeline always been dragged - Salary lower than market - Sometimes need OT
Manual qa tester
You’ll learn how to work with different stakeholders, manage your workload and understand different types of industries.
Pay minimum wage. To many projects to handle at one time Need to work overtime without receiving replacement leave (sometimes)
R&d
The whole company is technical, has a lot of projects, is very well-known tech company, CEO is friendly
Favouritism exists here, be careful. No proper onboarding SOP for some positions.
Former software developer
Good place to learn quickly as a fresh graduate. Had good peers and direct supervisor. Flexible working timings as long as work can be completed
Turnover rate is high due to low salary, high stress, playing of favouritism. Removal of free dinner if OT past 7pm. Low increment only increment high when handing in resignation
Mobile application developer
- Up to date industry practices (In some fields) - Lots of experience to acquire
- Be prepared to OT (alot) - Be prepared to deal with somewhat mono-culture - Be prepared to deal with lots of decision making stress that maybe or may no be from you.
Great culture and people that value teamwork
Challenging learning environment. Less structured.
You can learn alot from here as is it so fast paced. Parking is partly subsidised. Snacks are provided even though its mostly unhealthy stuff.
Only good for learning as they don't pay much.
