The hybrid work arrangement has improved my work-life balance. Being able to split my time between the office and remote work gives me the flexibility I need to excel in my role while still enjoying the comforts of home. Plus, the reduced commute time has made a significant impact on my daily routine, giving me more time to focus on what truly matters.
A fast-paced and often unpredictable nature of the industry. The rapid development and adoption of AI technologies can lead to frequent changes in job roles and responsibilities, making it challenging to establish long-term strategies.
-Amazing supportive colleagues -Startup environment so you would be able to learn a lot if you are a self starter and love to experiment -Regional exposure -Established client portfolio -Recently shifted to hybrid working environment
-Lack of priority and focus. Long term alignment needs to be established between product dev, sales and GTM. -External HR vendor is a challenge to work with so communication with employees definitely has rooms for improvement.
- Flexible hours - Teams are great & understanding.
- Legacy Code everywhere (be prepared) - Poor documentation - Need major overhaul on their internal system - Weird workflow within the engineering team
I enjoyed working at AiChat, had a Supportive & understanding team and senior management. Both in Indonesia and Singapore. Flexible working hours. Able to grow along with product development (for Junior software developer & highly recommend to AI/ML engineer). You can contribute an idea and able to see actual impact on product. CTO drives towards new technology advancement for the product development. Team building activities halted due to covid.
Business side of the Team get loads of requirements and tries to incorporate everything in core product making the product out of the scope. Each business person has high priority new requirements everyday and this makes previous requirements on hold.
Fully remote work but with 9-5 working time.
Weird management, as an engineer you may stay here for a while, but you may stuck on the career ceiling if you stay too long.
awesome and chill boss is ok
no clear direction for the company proceed
Colleagues are great but most have left now. There’s only the management and a less than a handful of colleagues now.
Experienced delays in salaries. Once, the delay was 10 days long and we were only notified on the day we were due to receive it with no expected date in view. CEO shrugged off this delay blaming it on the clients. Telling us he would also like to know when they would pay. The lack of regard for his employees is appalling. Witnessed a few colleagues being asked to leave. Claims are not reflected in payslips, no clarity on which claims are paid or not. No internal HR, external HR not responsive. CEO’s ideal of flexibility is providing us with two shifts, 9-6pm or 7-10pm. No proper onboarding, pushed to the most experienced staff left.
happy to work with the lead and provide support all the time when needed. pleased working the team too.
need to work remotely, where communication is a challenge. project management can be improved.
- Supportive and friendly colleagues who make the workplace enjoyable and collaborative. - A startup-like environment that encourages experimentation and gives the team valuable regional exposure across different industries. - A promising product with strong potential and room for innovation. - Flexible hybrid work arrangement that promotes work-life balance.
- Product priorities can sometimes shift due to the fast-paced nature of the industry. - Incentives could be improved to better recognise team efforts.
