Lead full stack developer
- nice people to work with
nothing so far, nice place
Senior backend engineer
Flexible remote work environment Good work-life balance Supportive and approachable leadership Positive and collaborative team culture
Fast-paced environment may occasionally increase workload Some processes are still evolving as the company grows
Manager
Although there were some hiccups previously with payment, situation seem to be more stable now. Workload is more, but still manageable and got support from our oversea team.
Some restructuring was going on last couple of months, sad that some colleagues were asked to leave. however, i guess this cant be help as everywhere is going through the tech layoff now..
Programmer
with a team we make like solid
because the company any problem finance , which is sometimes salary too late
Employee
well known established clients. - colleagues are nice, some are very helpful although every few weeks, someone is leaving the company so numbers are always dropping. - ceo did acknowledge late salary and knows how to apologise for such blunder (but unfortunately saying sorry does not pay bills or late fees fyi)
expected to work after working hours, sometimes weekends too. expected to take on roles of those who has left the company and ceo does not see urgency to get replacements. - the ceo, kester, normalise the behaviour of texting after hours (personally there should be boundaries) - worked here for almost a year and i dont see any clear direction of the company, questionable on the prospects of the company, although a lot was promised during the interview process. - bonus: working here, you stand a chance to receive your salary more than a week later. ceo cited due to pending payment so red flag about company’s financial standing.
Svp product management
Working at AiChat has been a rewarding experience, especially seeing how the team pulls together through changes. Our CEO Kester showed genuine appreciation for those who went the extra mile. What I appreciate most is the genuine care for the team. Kester is forward-thinking and really believes in what we're building and that enthusiasm is contagious. It shows in how decisions get made and how people are treated. I've really enjoyed working with our Southeast Asia teams. They're talented, collaborative and make coming to work enjoyable. There's a real sense of camaraderie and shared purpose. I'm optimistic about where we're headed. The product we're developing is compelling, the team dynamic is strong and there's momentum building as we start the year. It feels like a place where you can actually make an impact and grow.
During peak periods last year, managing multiple concurrent projects with tight deadlines was demanding. However, I'm pleased to see that the company has already addressed clearer project prioritisation, better resource planning and defined job scopes are now in place. The fast-paced environment remains energising and these improvements make the workload much more sustainable. The leadership team's responsiveness to feedback is evident in how quickly they've made these operational adjustments.
