Industrial gas isn't always the most exciting industry.

I worked @ AP for > 35 years. I was encouraged to get a flu shot every year. When I retired, out of habit, I went to the same place AP designated for flu shots, and I was denied. Yes, denied a $25 shot, some places for free. I went there out of convenience, not $25. It is sad I was encouraged all those years to get a shot, to maintain productivity, but after retirement, AP doesn't care about the employee. Maybe their thought process is I will die if I don't get the flu shot and they will no longer have to pay me my pension? All about the EBIDTA. My, AP has changed.

System are antiquated and the management perspective is very out dated. Office is based in one of the highest crime areas in Houston with at least one shooting or stabbing in the area per month.

It used to be a good company to work for until about 18 months ago, since then the cons outweigh the pros sadly, fewer long term employees, increasing number of temporary employees.

Not provide over time for extra work

To improve transparency in the salary (Chile)

No major cons - Difference in salary among peers (can be made up if you stay long) - Some HR policies are good for nothing - No Commute Facility by Company - Work from Home (need of the hour) is limited to 2 days in a month - No DA when on business trip

Work life balance is not the best
