Summer intern
Mentorship, strong safety culture, great pay, lots of hands-on learning
the interview process involves taking a test
Central sales representative
Decent hours, pay, and team.
Changes to compensation in recent years has been negative
Operations technician
There really are no pros to the company as a whole. The location where I work is good to provide what is needed for work. That is not the normal mentallity through the company. Last year the CEO withheld a significant amount of earned variable pay from all employees because he felt all could perform better. They are regularly impacting benefits/worklife in a negative fashion.
Wages are below industry standard. Benfits are below industry standard. Facilities are severely understaffed leading to excessive expectations. Training of new employees is nonexistent. Advancement is rare. Lateral job moves to different applications are not usually allowed. Pay discrepencies are ridiculous depending on the area of the country you're in. People in California, Texas, and Louisiana for instance, holding the same job as mine, make 30-40% more money with better healthcare plans. This is because the job market, for certain dkill sets, in those areas is much more competitive. So, in areas, where competition for employees, in the necessary skill set, isn't as great, they scale wages and benefits way back.
Anonymous employee
Challenging, exciting, great company culture
Unorganized, restructuring, no job security
Process engineer
Nice people, good work-life balance
Significant layoffs damage morale, severely limit opportunities for advancement
Writer
Highly regulted, professional and responsible company invested in its employees and the environment. A world leader with good rates of pay and a real investor in its personnel.
Lots of red tape means slow progress, although this is due to a safety first approach. Strong, entrenched culture (the AP way) not great when proposing new methods and ideas.
Culture, pay and management are all good.
Large business can make it hard to navigate at times.
Accountant
People, environment, salary, HO 3x per week, free classes at the premises e.g. pilates/yoga/running
Not too big flexibility to work from another country e.g. during summer
Project manager
fine, it is okey, i like it
there is non bad things
Good company culture for new employees
Major reorganization within company structure. More concerned about new employees vs. the employees that built the company to what it is now.
