Nothing as if such for now

Poor Management, no work/life balance

- Low Salary - Forced return to office with no compensation after years of WFH despite people having moved away, etc. - Very slow career growth, salary barely follow inflation every year. - Frequent mass layovers.

It is a demanding company where you work a lot of overtime. The salary is ok but for the amount of work, it cancels it out.

Very difficult to find any issues with this company

Not a clear career path offered

Long hours at work and mandatory working from office has been put into place (2-3 times per week)

HR runs the company. Sales commission schedule is weak. Too many products to master! Expense reimbursement is shady with no accountability. Engineering and management fail to learn from previous mistakes.

It is a very select field. Not much options outside this company as CAE is pretty much the big fish in the pond that swallows up the others.

Sometimes dealing with corporate can be challenging.

Can't take decisive actions, leads to failure to execute.

Seems like they have reduction in force quite often.

I didn't mind being laid off, but it was extremely abrupt and impersonal, which was jarring after such a warm culture while working there.

CAE is scared of growth and paying its team liveable wages. Would rather keep cheap contractors than advance current employees.

- Planners are not strategical and squeezing activities in schedule to stack your day. - EASA Management is Reactive and not Proactive. Most of the time working here had about 10-12 students at a time in an accelerated course. All of them mostly angry because they could not progress fast. Leading to a toxic environment. -Company just got new management, They took away ability for CFIs to set their own schedule, mindset of new management is squeeze every opportunity for profit, even if it does not make sense. -EASA planners at the moment are the most rude/not helpful people. Considering instructors are out there flying in 115F, with 10 students, and can never seem to help with accommodating certain request if we need.
