Nothing I can think of
Incompetent bullying managers Out of touch leadership Constant restructuring redundancies Penny pinching cost cutting Declining business
Anonymous employee
Global brand with flexible working
Low salary and way too conventional
Digital marketing coordinator
Great office environment and culture
No growth in terms of career progression
good stable environment and company structure
Japanese influence sometimes difficult - decisions are not taken, but made
Marketing
Nice, helpful colleagues Good work/life balance International colleagues
Career progression only for selected few (men) - no talent management programme can fix that Severe lack of diversity in head office Sloooooow decision taking In need of external recruitment to replace vast majority of senior management to provide new perspectives to the business & inject new energy into company No vision from management Lack of leadership Pay is not on par with industry standards
Credit manager
Great Team Collaboration and Agility
Long working hours and work life balance
Great culture and work life balance. Young and enthusiastic team. Great support from Japan headquarters
Due to the flat structure there is very little room for progression. It does help that hey are doing more secondments but they are more horizontal moves rather than vertical moves
Accounts payable coordinator
work-life balance, great community, employees are well-compensated
slow professional growth, they lack manpower
Commercial account manager
Sales oriented company. Strong culture... very good company to work for
very slow in processes and decision making
Sales and marketing coordinator
I could get good and stable salary and bonus in proportion to the years I work for. I could take morning/afternoon off and holidays easily, and I had to take 5 consecutive holidays once at a year. If you want, you can work out side of Japan as a Japanese expatriate as I did.
No salary jump up based on my performance and accomplishment. It is two sides of the same coin. Also, I had a less authority and there were a lot of people whose I had to get approval from so that things moved extremely slowly. I personally felt difficulties to work as a woman in this old fashioned company.
