Fixed mindset with many: Lots of old school people still stuck in their ways: not open to change or just ignore new process or tools. Many been there 25-30 years. A fairly large share of bullshitters who slip their way through with customers in hiding critical information. Managers who have abusive behaviour just get moved around and are not disciplined.

-placed on overtime within a few hours notice but have no choice to decline - poor overtime wage rate - poorly spaced break times - management treat employees like children in a Secondary school

Salary is not based on your knowledge nor experience so whether you go the extra mile or not you receive the same quarterly bonus and annual salary as someone who may contribute half of your input or knowledge

lack of personal/professional development structure for career progression within the company

- Some really good talent and skills that go unnoticed while promoting other useless individuals - Transferring of products and work overseas leaving Toronto almost dead - Never back-filling positions after promotions, leaving many people covering mulltiple roles for indefinite periods. - Low Morale as constant threat of restructuring. - No loyalty to staff or job security ..... its only a matter of tie before you get the TAP!

None for me in my position

The review process is in no way representative of how much hard work you put in. You are graded in areas that do not apply to what you are really charged with doing. People aren't motivated after a couple reveiws to keep going up and over management's expectations.

Must bear with the foreigners bad talking

This particular site could be rather disorganized at times.

Can be a grind at the end of the quarter. Poor planning and coordination. Struggle getting parts.

Not very stable changes a lot as it does not has a very diversified costumer based.

Working to 3 am in the morning as a buyer planner was a first for me! Buyer/planners were outsourced to Romania

You will put in the hours and then some, but you'll be paid out fairly.

Probably 90% of the managers are amazing; you're in trouble if you get that 10%, though. I had an incredible, 17 year career with at least 10 different managers - loved them all, and they loved me. It all ended in large part due to a bad manager.

the boss is not good. the environment is not good. the salary is low. you cannot make any progress and development in this company.

Just the common office politics. Nothing major.

Tight-nit management makes movement upwards slow and tedious - almost feels unioned within the corporate side. 6+ years for a promotion which never came but continuously promised. It doesn't matter how well you did in the year, it all gets bell-curved. Never felt valued until it was something they needed from me, or until it was too late.

Over Workload with extra overtime required. Paid can be improvise parallel with workload.

Risk averse and challenged to keep up with competitors both on investments and progressive models.

Production floor is very congested

The company's performance is impacted significantly by the industry and the clients, so it is not too stable in terms of business and job security

Slow increment and low bonus

- Long hours - Tight budgets

Benefit is somehow below others mnc company.

Takes long time to hire someone for permanent position. You have to keep reminding the management.
