Long hours, travelling time not paid, constantly working in different time zones

Middle management is over staffed. Poor overall culture. Few young people aside from students. Slightly below average salary and benefits. Lateral career movement. Out-dated/ignorant approach to software development and best practices.

Nothing to hilte as con in this place.

Does not have a good culture or rules and regualtions

Frequent reorg, restructuring, no job secrurity

Working hours might be longer.

Difficult to get recognition for your hard work until you are vocal about what you have achieved and your supervisor's favorite.

Quiet strict sometimes on certain issue.

Some processes have gaps that need to be addressed

Early shift is kinda tiring

Salary is a bit low.

Bad pay, bullying lots abuse, no growths, managers clueless. Wrong people hired for the role like team leaders. Don't know the products them self relies on others information, can't do the job them selves. Constant lieing between team leader and management what is say and what is done are to different things, and management are kept in the dark.

A bit too much outsourcing.

Bought Motorola facility only to close it down

Work load not balanced. Difficult to engage teams to participate and commit

management level constant turnover. some lower management have not sense of direction

It's all about who you know and what race you are. Politics.

To much overtime which adds to much stress.

Worked to the bone - asked to stay late all the time to meet demands of customers, many times based off of poor planning. Even if you're team is working over capacity metrics, more time is asked of you. Typically put in 6 days a week and you're still 4 days behind. Promises of raises and of greater benefits go unfulfilled, even after 6 months. Low pay. Many long term people who work hard are unknown to HR and upper management, which determines who forever stays a 'temp hire' and who gets 'hired on'.

The salary is underpaid and slow in approving overtime work.

Aerospace and Defense production, mostly older technology, hard to find components at times.

The salary is on the lower end of what this industry offers.

Dependent on the customer for know how and new technology.

Highly competitive market. Challenging industry. Frequent workforce changes. Demanding customers and standards. Complex and highly analytical. Long hours. Rapid changes in market.

Surprise Layoffs (Reductions in Force (RIF)), does not feel like there is any loyalty to the workers and workers are expendable, No clear path of advancement, high stress, local site is poorly managed, Portland site primarily higher temp works so they are easier to fire. Profit oriented at the site level, Little to no training programs for new higher

No guide line of career path.

Difficult industry. Many jobs pushed to low cost geographies.

Short staffed qnd a lot of work

No room for growth beyond lead position. Annual raise was 10 -20 cents. Cronyism and favoritism is rampant on all levels of supervision. Leads run the entire plant from a production side as no direction is given towards shipping goals. When checks are incorrect the associate had to wait their biweekly timeframe for correction so you may not get paid what you owed for an additional 2 weeks. 5S and lean terminology were posted everywhere but not implemented anywhere.

The salary is very bad and atrocious. There is little to no career movement or choice in the company.

I was never told anything that my performance actions was bad or needed to improve. I was simply called on a day I expected to work and told I don't have a job In a rude voice and he hung up. No explanation. No reason. No warning. I felt I'm an outcast.
