It analyst
- invests in the development of their employees
- compensation is on the lower end
Finance manager
Good systems Good benefits Good learning opportunities
Slow growth Difficult to accommodate for foreigners
Process engineering advisor
- good w.r.t. taking time off (long vacations), of course they work you to the bone so it's the least they can do.
- weak management top to bottom - too much politics - too much dead weight, people not pulling their weight (checked out) - nothing but band aid solutions - no accountability for poor performance - mediocre pay
Senior manager
Some really good people (although too many have been downsized) Decent salary, benefits + vacation Flexible work environment (hours, telecommuting, etc.) Current CEO (Muhlhauser) seems passionate about turning things around Free parking
Lousy salary increases, if at all (too many salary freezes over the years) Short term thinking, indecision, constantly changing plans. Attrition of experienced people (voluntary and involuntary) Insufficient resources to perform effectively The Americanization of the company culture (too many people who thrive on flash but no substance) Erosion of teamwork over the years (now it's about CYA and pointing fingers) Too much movement of responsibilities to unskilled low-cost geographies Bad IT infrastructure (very fragmented)
Quality engineer
Stability, environmental community and more
Low pay, management, quality, and more
Anonymous employee
The people and processes are solid. Well run. Profitable. Supply Chain - one of the best. Good that they got out of the HV consumer business.
Not best for non sales US based employees. Big company but nimble enough for its size. Needs more medium sized accounts.
Talent acquisition manager
Mix of people with a lot of experience, love for the company and a new generation of employees due to a really fast pace grow. Wide variety of businesses, learning opportunities, challenges.
A lot of new things on the way to be implemented but not ready yet.
