Pays lower than industry standards, especially for new grads/younger employees. Burnout/overwork is high, especially for top performers who get the bulk of the work. Lots of legacy processes in place when the company was bigger which can be frustrating to deal with. Most big projects won get outsourced to other factories for cost cutting, the Canadian footprint is relatively flat/shrinking. Customer meetings can take up the majority of your day depending on workload. Morale in senior employees is relatively low as many are exhausted and are waiting to be laid-off to collect their higher than industry level severance packages. Typically “restructure” yearly after annual physical inventory.
