Perfect company , they hired any experience level candidate and make that candidate skillful. Seniors are helpful and so kind to each other.

Some politics, company structure is chaotic, sometimes it's hard to get things done, a few difficult managers but nothing too bad. Covid puts a lot of pressure on everyone.

hours were all over the place
Passion for media is generally valued, employee discount is nice
Did not train me and then decided I wasn't needed
Low Pay: Relatively low pay, and this can be a concern for anyone living in dublin, especially if they have high living costs or financial responsibilities. Irregular Hours: Requires working on weekends, evenings, and holidays, which can make it challenging to maintain work-life balance or plan social activities. Customer Service Challenges: Dealing with difficult or irate customers can be emotionally taxing, and retail employees often have to handle customer complaints and issues. Physical Demands: Some positions in retail, such as those involving stocking shelves or standing for long periods, can be physically demanding. Limited Career Advancement: Career advancement opportunities may be limited, and employees may feel like there are few opportunities for growth or promotion. Workload: Retail employees may have to juggle multiple tasks and responsibilities simultaneously, which can be overwhelming during busy periods. Limited Benefits: Retail positions may offer limited benefits, such as health insurance or retirement plans, compared to positions in other industries.
Work-Life Balance: Maintaining a healthy balance between work and personal life can be challenging, leading to burnout or strained relationships. Relationship Conflicts: Disagreements, misunderstandings, and conflicts can arise in personal and professional relationships, causing stress and emotional turmoil. Lack of Time: Many people feel they have insufficient time to pursue their interests, hobbies, or spend quality time with loved ones due to busy schedules.
Unique 2nd hand tech retail business
None that I can think of
Working in two stores in different countries was a fun experience for me. I actually enjoyed working here for almost 5 years.
Some pressure to meet targets from upper management
Great vibe with colleagues, you can work literally any other retail job with no fear afterwards
Very hard to move up or make more money
Very unique in what the do. They buy & sell electronics Opportunities to move up in the company there but not many people seem motivated to do so
At times they seem very unorganized and make panic moves Too many people have input on what needs to get done when it just takes one person to decide Cut corners when ever they feel the need to even at staff's expense
Good Team, Working with Video Games and Movies, Discount on Technology
Overworked, Poor Management, Terrible Communication
