The work they ask you to do at the entry level is easy. Great PTO system. Great training program.
Every specific and can get in trouble very quickly, have to be on your toes. No room for error. Low pay compared to the field, low bonuses. Moving up the company is very difficult.
Great company, I worked there for 26 years before I retired in October of 2013, and moved to South Carolina. Great benefits especially health insurance and 401K package.
After the president Dean O'Hare retired the company started to change and was no longer family and employee focused.

Finance fp&a
- Welcome Pack, laptop and mobile phone are ready for me on Day 1 - Nice office
- The Head of Department is keeping an eye on the clock. Staff members are expected to be in the office from 9am to 6.30pm despite of other commitments outside work such as having to drop off or pick up kids from day care. If you ignore this as you really need to pick up your kid and decided to leave at 5pm, you will be frowned upon - Unrealistic expectations, e.g. new team members are expected to deliver critical deadlines from Day 1 despite of minimal introduction to the company’s specific strategies and basics - Micro-management - Management fostered a culture of always provide the business whatever they want ANYTIME they want. So, last minute requests are deemed as normal and will ALWAYS need to be fulfilled. No one has ever pushed back as they view the business as king being the cash cows. This is not wrong, but to do this at the expense of their staff’s health and wellbeing is not right - Management thinks there’s nothing wrong with all of the above as they think working in their team is NOT FOR EVERYONE
There is a lot of room for "manager discretion". Benefits are excellent. Tries to create a comfortable environment for all employees. Volunteer opportunities within local community.
Once you've joined, material salary increases are difficult to come by. Work-life flexibility seems to depend upon manager.
