Underwriter
It is a well known name in the insurance world
High work load with minimal training or development. Does not provide recognition to its employees. The more you can take on, the more they will give you, and with no reward for the extra work.
Financial planning analyst
Worldwide recognized, a great place to learn and grow. To gain international experience
Hard to be promoted, low salaries and poor benefits. A little bit old school
Compensation n benefits are ok
Culture need to be improve
Nothing much to say about this company. Only pros are subpar free lunches. You can get to know 480 laws of power if you work here long enough, political games mangers play here will put any seasoned politician to shame. You will get motivated to become a human rights activist if you stay long enough here. All good reviews are probably posted by employees in their honeymoon period.
Office politics is at the highest level in CBSI Bangalore - This is an unregistered political party with more politicians inside it than parliament. Red tapism, nepotism, bureacracy, biases - only people close to a tall figure in top mgmt will get yearly promotions and all these are decided in cafeteria. There's a legacy team which survived here with the blessings of the tall figure. Job security is a nightmare as PIP culture has spread like wildfire throughout and used as an easy tool to get rid of employees manger dislikes. A slight scratch on their highly inflated egos can lead to road to termination irrespective of performance. No career growth or learning curve. HR team is clueless, unhelpful, and unempathetic. They are just mouth piece for managers.
Administrative assistant
Lots of opportunity for advancement.
Heavy workload due to reductions in staff. Be prepared to work long hours.
Chief operating officer
Freedom to experiment and learn new things
Not observed any cons as of now
