Software engineer
* Work-life balance * Modern tech stack
* Compensation is average. Can be better.
Senior casualty adjuster
Wide variety liability / casualty claims (plenty to keep you busy, and interested). Excellent benefits, but like all benefits these days, they are a little expensive. Still - overall well worth it. Camaraderie - A+ (but sometimes a little too much)
Management / Operating programs are archaic, and there are three of them you must work with. Handle too many states. Correspondence (like the operating systems), archaic, Far too many steps - in all areas - to complete simple tasks. Most everyone works weekends just to keep up.
Assistant underwriter
Top tier insurer means some great opportunities (for the fortunate few)
It is difficult if you are not the chosen one.
Claim specialist
Good environment. Good co-workers. Great clients, some of the best clients I've personally partnered with.
Management has a lot on their plate. A lot of recent general changes so communication can be slow at times.
Analyst
Great company to work for.
They don't provide a great salary increment.
Anonymous employee
Benefits and work from home opportunities
Literally everything else. The culture is terrible and cliquey like high school. There is a very concerning lack of diversity. Where are the people of color and women? I think Chubb hires just enough to make sure it's compliant with employment laws.
Project engineer
Great people to work around, abundance of training courses
Low wages, sometimes can be forgotten about
Good Employee Benefit, Good cultural and working colleagues
Expensive area for lunch
Underwriting assistant
It's a fabulous company! Great leadership and lots of growth opportunities
Can't think of anything, they even offered me a good stipend to help me move!
Head of business continuity
see lots of change and c chance to learn a lot.
never get to steady state
