Product manager
Dell is a big company with all the challenges of a large company(process, systems, red tape) but a lot of good people work there. And Dell does produce good products. The medical for employees is very good.
Every 2 quarters, you're not sure if it's your turn to be laid off. Even though Dell is consistently profitable, it's all about the numbers.
Technical support engineer 2
Good work culture Good salary Opportunities to upskill
Frequent Management changes No Hybrid option
Softear engineer
Dell is very Employee friendly company
Compensation can be a bit better
Senior business intelligence analyst
Work life balance, skill development
Limited access to fast upward mobility
Ux writer
Fair base salary and bonus, great individual contributors on most teams, best manager I've ever had
Soulless executive leadership, layoffs regularly every year (I was finally affected after dodging it for nearly 4 years), business does not care about their customers/users needs, product design decisions are made by out-of-touch senior leaders that compromise the end product (and it shows), minimal opportunities for vertical or lateral career movement even when you have great year end reviews (dead end for most)
Senior advisor
Nice people and at that time there was a work-life balance
Management is biggest issue in this company
Software engineer 1
- Great salary range - Not much office politics - Flexible timing
- Promotions tend to happen very slow
Anonymous employee
Good work life balance, Good leadership
Slow growth, Too much hierarchy Compensation could be higher to be commensurate with the market
Senior software principal engineer
Compensation is good, senior leadership is good.
Engineering here has turned into factory work. Managers too busy to do more than paperwork. Career growth limited by old boy network.
Inside sales account manager
Management always trying to make things better; good products; lots of talented smart people; generous time off; good benefits
Customers complaints about too many rep changes; unrealistic and unattainable goals
