work life balance, good culture
in office 5 days a week, no remote roles
Technical support engineer
Very stable company with some good benefits. Work-life balance. There are still a few remote options.
There is too vast lack of organizational communication with the BU's from leadership.
Software engineer
- Good work life balance - Nice coworkers
- Most challenging/interesting work is outsourced to India or China - Low Morale across the board - Clueless executives, very evident Dell follows trend blindly. - You treated like a number. Management is based in India, and it is really evident they only care for only their own.
Principal software engineer
Dell has good benefits (401k, healthcare, employee discount)
No stock option, a bad culture of working style. I felt like we were sailing a ship by hand. They need to hire good engineers instead of using many average engineers
Good management, work life balance
Increment is less also promotions take time
It business advisor
- Brand reputation and product sell themselves - Great long-term career stability if you can stick with it
- Disconnect across upper, middle, and lower management - More old-school sales culture
Senior technical lead
Dell is a collaborative, innovation-driven company that supports professional growth, flexibility, and meaningful work on enterprise-scale technologies.
As with many large organizations, processes and decision-making can sometimes take longer due to the scale and need for cross-team coordination.
Anonymous employee
Good Work Life Balance in the team I worked
Nothing much to complain at that time
Senior software engineer
People here are generally nice and supportive, this culture is nice. Managers care about work-life balance
Salaries are not competitive enough
Channel account manager
Equitable pay to an extent
The more senior you are the more of a layoff target you are. Toxic leadership continues to persist.
