-if you are passionate about Research , Sometimes you feel that Business tasks ( specially Firefighting problems) are more important than research , just like any other business
Anonymous employee
Opportunity to work in various different areas.
Too many people and can be hard to move up.
Weekly pay that's it literally
Point system, no room to advance, long hours with short notice, untrained supervisors including yelling and literally fighting with employees, internal politics, parking, Not wanting to pay people for positions that they are doing but can't get job titles for and 30 mins for lunch for a 10 hour shift or more and not wanting to give two 15 min breaks per law. Not hiring the temp after 30 to 60 days how they are supposed to some temps were there for 6 months or longer before getting hired with no benefits and no paid off days. No sick time only 10 full days or 20 half days per year. Not wanting to let people off for dr's appt. A dr's notice is still a point on your record and at 6 points you are out the door regardless of job performance or length of employment. Medical dept refuses to give full information about short term disability.

Great people to learn from
Company going out of business
Senior manager
Depending on the team, some of the smartest, roll-up their sleeves people you'll ever work with. Vacation is good if you are a Senior Manager or above.
For a company of this size, they offer almost nothing competitive in terms of benefits or perks. No onsite gym, no coffee shop onsite, the cafeteria food is pretty terrible and repetitive. There is a remote work policy, but it's understood that you should not use it if you want to succeed or get promoted.
Senior human resources business partner
Great reason for existence; one that every person in the organization can relate to. Environment is so light and casual. Very compassionate and respectful environment. Very egalitarian too.
Very traditional still in approach. Slow paced and there is a bit of bureaucracy that you need to manage.
