Customer service technician
Overtime ... working for Verizon Wireless you get alot of overtime as a technician due to new phones constantly coming out as well as the crappy phones they sell you always have work to do
Pay not commensurate with the job VZW and Flex management play favorites Unfair policies ... such as bonuses, time off, contact with upper management and HR
Human resources manager
Work life balance Compensation par with mkt standard Learning opportunities Good culture
Nothing specific to be shared from the employee perspective all good
Production technician
if you work at a “Good” station, you are good and will feel relax and easy work. Can work while seating (most station).
Salary considered low. Easy to get retrenched if economy not good.
Director
It's a place where you can grow. Management do not limit where employees want to go.
The company is not for everyone. It's only for goal getters. You have to prove yourself first. I can see why some people might not like FLEX.
Automation engineer
Interesting work, highly technical and automated.
No autonomy, no resources and all tech support speaks Mandarin.
Manufacturing engineer iii
Many different types of projects at each location means that you have huge flexibility on the industry you become familiar with. Pay is above average and benefits are the best I have ever had. No complaints there. As long as you pull your weight, you have a pretty easy time and everyone is happy to help if you need it. Most people stay in their lanes and managers typically do not micro manage. Great work life balance with flexible schedules available. Never expected to work over time unless you put yourself into a position that you need to do it.
Upper management is somewhat out of touch with on the floor activities. There is not much automation and lots of manual assembly processes. There are an overwhelming number of proprietary software systems and websites that are needed to be successful and there is not much official guidance on how to navigate them. The orientation duration is not long enough and not tailored to different departments but is generic.
Anonymous employee
Friendly environment at work place.
As per my experience, no issues
