Flextronics offers quite a bit of opportunity for growth and development for those who earn it. I've been promoted twice in 2.5 years. They also offer many global project teams for employees to participate in. That said, it's not in a clear, career-mapping, kind-of way. Usually, promotions seem to be a result of an individuals hard work.
The biggest downside is the amount of time spent working at Flextronics. A 40-hour work week would be a vacation. Flextronics is pretty flexible about working from home at times (not preferred) when you have sick children or appointments. But most workers (not just managers) put in a lot of hours each week.

Good Average Salary Hike , 12days of Minimum Yearly Off is compulsory as per HR policy , Job Rotational Program available to work in Cross Functional teams,Std SCM process can be learned.You will have good respect when you reach out to new company after reliving from flex.
People depend on excel still for most of the activities , Cost cutting are done majorly on every activities , Employees will not have any general meeting with HR and HR will just act as per manager or Director instruction in all aspects. Depends on site on every activity control at GBS is at minimum level.
