Pros

-Really nice hybrid model that lets you WFH 2-3 days a week -Nice co-workers, inclusive environment -Snacks in the kitchen, nice little snack for your morning in office - Standing desks, surprisingly not all companies have standing desks -Really good insurance and benefits package from day 1, no probation -Starting 3 weeks of vacation -Fun events like employee appreciation lunches, ice cream trucks, BBQ, donuts, birthday cake monthly -Really good catering for employee appreciation, although IMCD got stingy and instead of catering for both A and B schedule they changed it only to once so if you were supposed to be WFH that day you need to go in office for the lunch -One of the nicer companies to work for in Brampton

Cons

These are my experiences and different departments and teams have their own issues so it may not be the same experiences company wide fyi. They have different CSR departments for different industries like food, pharma, and personal care. I enjoyed the benefits the company had to offer but the actual job was stressful and eventually I was laid off. Way too much workload with no reprieve and overall very high stress environment. I was on the CSR team and we were swamped every single day. I know supply chain analysts, logistics and other teams were also complaining about the workload. Although it's a hybrid model, oftentimes even at home you end up working over time. Lots of tracking here and they are big on meeting KPIs. Your manager will go over your stats with you every month. They track the amount of orders you enter, amount of orders you missed for the day, credits you enter, mistakes you make, email volume. At the end of the year they also make co-workers rate each other where you're asked to rate them out of 5 for certain things like communication, responsiveness, accuracy etc. and ask what your co-workers could improve on. Your job here isn't safe. People are let go or laid off. My entire CSR team was laid off. I didn't like how the company laid off hard workers but lots of incompetent unresponsive people never had any issues ie. people in the credit department or CS Support team. Gaslighting in my department. Kept promising and reassuring us everything was fine after 3 team members left. They advised us they were in the process of hiring new people. They never hired anyone. The workload of the 3 individuals who left was added onto our workload so we had even more work to do daily and it was literally impossible to enter all the orders and respond to all emails same day. They finally ended up assigning an order entry helper which did help immensely. When we tried to bring up the increase in workload but we were to just bear it for a little while because the company was already looking to hire new people. Our department was already severely understaffed and overworked so I was surprised when they decided to lay us all off. Workload wasn't distributed fairly. I would get 80-110 emails per day depending on how busy we were, I checked other team members and theirs would be like anywhere from 60-100 depending on the day. Some had more emails/orders and some had less, not equal at all. However I never complained because it was manageable for me until a point. Once co-workers started leaving and more work was assigned to me it was becoming a problem for me and I started apply for jobs elsewhere thankfully. No accountability sometimes. Twice i had issues with their CS Support team because they didn't action my rush request in time. They were talking in circles and kept finding something else to blame instead of taking accountability. Just apologize and move on lol is it that hard to admit you messed up? CSR will get the blame sometimes if anything with an order goes wrong, You should make sure everything is done perfect on your end so they can't call you out and they do get irritated by mistakes. If you have suggestions for upper management or policies the company could improve on, they don't really take your opinion into account, especially if you're a low level employee. I know that's the norm in some companies but it really doesn't feel like you have a voice or say sometimes.
