The teams I worked on, and the people I interacted with were all great. The remote work was super flexible, and even though the work could be boring it had a lot of perks about it. No one micromanaged you, and I enjoyed working there for 2 years.
Cons were that it was such a big company that communication was pretty bad. Also, people were leaving and being hired at such a fast pace that the people I needed to get a hold of were gone. Also, the workload was not consistent and was either too high for comfort or there wasn't enough to do. It all depended on how much the sponsor sent us and for 6 months in a row we were overloaded. Finally, we were laid off abruptly after being transferred to a team to start working on another project. None of my managers knew supposedly so not much communication.
