- You might find great colleagues eager to help or from whom you've got a lot to learn - nice and friendly environment, a place where you can develop - remote work is possible, flexible time also possible (i used to work at night and just attending the meetings daytime)
- make sure you negociate the best salary you're able to that can keep you motivated, because there are no so much often salary increases (the last one was 2 yrs ago) - depends a lot on the project, but the management is sometimes toxic - upper management has big issues, requirements for the upcoming projects are most of the times unclear - upper management is not technical and sometimes they do not understand the complexity of the project and think that 9 pregnant women can deliver a baby in 1 month - depending on the project, the management (even ur teamlead) doesnt trust the engineers and try to micromanage - benefits are not wow either, no sports benefit - no stocks
Qa manual engineer
It's a good start for middle engineers
Lack of motivation Salary below market A lot of lay-offs, budget cuts Not a reliable employer Management issues C-level management is sick of AI PowerPoint illness Good time in this company is over Reliable and good engineers are being replaced by low-cost-living engineers with low-quality standards
