As this is an outsourcing company, you can be laid off at any time if the client decides not to extend the contract.

All the same as in other companies.
If you already have a job, don't change your company to Luxoft. They often do not sign permanent contracts with employees. During interview they say they are hiring because the project growth, that have a budget and detailed plans for the next year, but then the client applies budget cuts and they don't sign the permanent contract with you. I thought "ok, things happen", but later found similar feedback left in 2022 and 2024.
