Food and beverage operations manager
Solid benefits. 401k, health, dental, eye. Stock purchase available. Good opportunity for networking with vast community. Discounted hotel stays.
Difficult to get things done. Nearly all properties are owned by third party. If ownership group is difficult, you will notice immediately as it created a lot of finger pointing for responsibility. Training is a joke. It was uphill coming in as experienced manager. New managers beware. No mentorship structure in place. Garbage bonus structure that takes into account property measures that your department may have no influence on.
Housekeeping manager

There are two things that I bring into the culture of any hotel. Cleanliness and Friendliness. These are the foundation to any hotel property sucess. Also communication between departments sales, front desk, Engineering and housekeeping etc.
