A director who like to boss around act like she owns the hotel always complaining about everything she never help anybody only order and scream at staffs. She doesn't have any empathy. So Marriott core values are the big lie. Non of Marriott in Thailand do "Putting people first" only profit first. She act like every employees are her slave. And made a lot of employees feel uncomfortable but no one can do everything because she is director.

The slow season in a hotel is very slow

Mostly 60 hour work week. Building renovation needed

Having to do room service and clearing dirty dishes from housekeeping area

nothing, everthing about it is good nothing nothing nothing nothing

Demanding work, tight timeline and stuffs

Lots of bureaucracy, not very modern, bad systems

Internal transfer not transparent, difficult

rate of pay is a bit lower than other industries

None really ,good place ,nice people
