Reservations agent
nice ppl, great hours, and communication
no internal improvment at all
Anonymous employee
Food at work, parking, partly washing service for uniforms
Work hours, maternity leave standard, no real bonuses except enter to the service with some shop discounts. If you stay loyal for the company you probably will earn less than new employees, guests is more important than working conditions, so if you get abuse from guests you won’t get any support and protection
Communications specialist
Very great experience with quick follow-up
Too many managers to report to
Waiter/waitress
Flexible work hours and nice uniform
Not regular pay as I work for part timer
Front desk/spa attendant
Discounts. Good staff. Fun interactions.
Long Hours. Guest can be rude.
Front desk
Felt like family working at BMW!
Not many cons other than the occassional uber drunk guest with the creepiest questions
Barista
Everyone is hospitable, company cares about employees, great full-time benefits, hotel discount.
Systems are out dated sometimes.
Everyone has been so welcoming!
Tough work, not the best staff care
Front office manager
Great employee hotel discounts all over the world
Difficult hours with little pay
Front desk receptionist
I can’t think of anything positive except the employee discount on Marriott hotel.
Where do I start. The training for new employees are nonexistent, they basically leave you to figure it out on your own and expect you to know what they never trained you on. Management don’t care about our concerns because they don’t do anything to fix it. I would not recommend working there unless you like dealing with nasty attitude from the Front Office Manager (Joylene), who is extremely unprofessional and doesn’t know a thing about managing the front desk or helping out when the team need help. Save yourself the headache and go work somewhere that is far less TOXIC.
