Almost no work life balance and lacks the human touch

- Less growth both salary and learning wise - mediocre company overall

Senior manager
Great culture and interesting work
Minimal promotion opportunities at senior level
Associate managing consultant
- Good pay and benefits - Flexibiilty to work remotely - Collaborative work environment
- lack of coherence among managers about work-life balance which is a value that is highlighted by the company - performance evaluations depend on ideas/stories a person who didn´t work with you make of yourself - a lot of subjectivity to evaluate employees depending on each manager style - feedback without clear evidence
Fp&a manager

There is no cons, it is a great place to work
Principal software engineer
Good work-life balance and benefit
Some progress is slow due the large organization
Director, software engineering
Good pay structure, pay for performance and decent hikes. Flexibility at work and great work culture. Multiple opportunities for internal movements.
None ideally, but some people do not like mandatory 2/3 days in office every week.
Software engineer
Amazing PTO policy and a very competitive 401k program.
There appears to be an imbalance in how opportunities, visibility, and recognition are distributed across the team. Communication and decision-making often happen within smaller informal groups, which can unintentionally favor certain employees. This has led to perceptions of inconsistent evaluation criteria and limited transparency in assignments and career growth.
Software developer
Work Life Balance, Flexible Working Hours
No cons, that I can think of.

Mastercard is a good company, but GBSC HR is the worst department inside MA. A one-point Career level change will take several years, and you might be lucky. Salary is not tallying with quantum of work.
Manager, product management
Amazing group of people, great culture and work processes
Office space not optimal, pending our new office grand opening.
Reliability engineer

Senior data scientist

- hybrid work (remote / onsite) - pay is a bit lower than industry average
Director, product management
- Great Culture - Financial stability - Employee Benefits - Workplace environment
- Missing Balanced Scorecards for Company strategy definition - Be more agile.
Data scientist
Competitive pay, good perks and decent work life balance.
The work could be better. They are still using old software and the approval process takes a lot of time.
Managing consultant
Healthcare benefits and housing allowance are good.
Annual salary increase relatively low
Software lead engineer
Benefits such as 401k, sick leave, etc
Some of the upper management is bias. For example the last 8 promotions in my dept have been in India teams only, while people on USA teams are told “there’s no budget for promotions”. Great place to work if Indian, otherwise don’t expect a promotion. Mandatory 3 days in office is ridiculous, especially when there’s 2 people for every desk. So many times people can’t find a parking spot and have to come back later. Or if they find a spot, they have no open desk. And yet they monitor everyone’s badging in/out. 12+ hour work days, so much micro managing. Been with MC a long time, since Ajay left the company has become worse. They have employee surveys and many complain about the in office policy but upper management changes nothing.
Work-life balance, compensation, and flexibility between on-site and remote work.
Not the best place for a fast-paced and performance-oriented career.
Associate specialist technology
Culture, work life balance and flexibility
Less career growth and repetitive tasks
Great company culture, and a lot of outstanding team members.
I haven't find out yet.
Sr. vice president
Cool technology; fast paced group if you are part of a former startup. Work hard and play hard
slower compared to a traditional tech company
Top benefit package in the industry within the market.
Lacking innovative solutions these days
Talent acquisition
Amazing company and culture - loved working there!
Slow career progression trajectory in a corporate environment
Finance
Great benefits offered and lots of opportunties for growth.
However, lots of politics and diversity initiatives is not consistent across the company. Biases are blatant in certain teams. This can be team specific as the culture of the team is based on the leaders
Great culture and people here.
Pay movement might not be as competitive as market rate.
1. The pay is very good, especially for fresh grads. But ~50% lower than MBB 2. WLB is good, especially vs. MBB, by consulting standards 3. Performance review is very structured and meritocratic. There is a low chance you can get promoted just because your manager likes you 4. Big big org, can transfer if you dont like what you are doing
1. YoY and promotion-related increments are laughable. The increase in expectations at the next level almost always does not fit your salary increase 2. Most people managers dont really care for their squads. This is because being a people manager is like a requirement to make principal, so they dont coach out of love, but just to get that promotion. They are also very busy, so dont expect much mentoring 3. The Mastercard Way, AKA our rules, only really apply to those who are not principals. I've seen a principal threatened a manager's well-deserved promotion over paperwork issues, i've seen principals blow up in a vendor's face, etc. But what are you gonna do? report your boss and lose your job? 5. Upward feedback does not exist, despite it being part of the evaluation. 6. There is no training whatsoever, especially for lower level consultants. So there is a big discrepancy in performance. This is also true for managers, so some managers are respectable leaders while others should have stayed as consultants 7. I found that a lot of managers are very good at telling people what they are doing wrong, but are surprisingly quiet when it comes to specific steps one can take to improve. 8. Senior management is very stingy with money. Good luck getting them to pay for anything without a fight
Service center manager
great benefits, nice people, good atmosphere
pay was on the lower end
Senior analyst
They hire smart people, there is a good culture of learning.
Pay is not industry competitive. Salary reviews happen yearly.
Great compensation, culture and benefits
there can be long work days
Good working culture with friendly colleagues 24 days AL, amazing insurance coverage, able to WFH
Salary increase is marginal department is expanding too quickly causing promotions to slow down
Overall good leave policy. Good I er all brand name.
Politics. Not recommended. Career stagnation.
Lead technical program manager
Colleagues are great, benefits and compensation are competitive for the region.
Emphasis on moving fast means that there's little room for work-life balance if you are to keep up.
Account manager
Great opportunity to work with senior stakeholders
Office culture is average due to the location
Business analyst
There are good working environment
company is not good at all
Work culture and environment, hybrid model
Compensation varies hugely across teams. No huge benefits
Manager
Competitive salary and benefits package Amazing 401 Match PTO and Time Off Policy
Management - People leaders are normally promoted based on being great individual contributors - hundreds of people leaders are poor managers and will continue to be promoted and have teams under them Purchase Office - It is quite difficult to be based out of the New York City Office and may need to be in Purchase NY multiple days a week - So sadly you are paying NYC rent/taxes while not being paid a New York City salary
The workplace is excellent and friendly with ample growth opportunities.
Nothing for me, everything is smooth :)
