- too much hectic schedule - US driven work culture - arrogant people - no easy promotions

Moral is declining, salary is below market

Nothing as of now its been great experience.

I couldn't find anything wrong.

Doing well by doing good...It is not really the case. They look at people as a number, and every year despite generating profits, they lay off many employees, independently from their performance. It just happened again, 3 of my close coworkers and friends were just let go without reasons.

A bit too political and slow sometimes. Too broad focus…

- Calling back to office, option should be given to employees to do WFH or WFO

The work is of very low quality and there are very few learning and growth opportunities. Most of the work is highly manual in nature and they hire overpaid MBAs to do work that can be done by fresh graduates at half the cost and they know this which is why they pay very poorly to laterals, so unless you get an offer from campus, it is not worth joining. It is a very slow and stagnant organisation with a very lax culture and your career growth will be very slow.

There are no cons as per my knowledge.

Too many layers of approval on management side

often chaotic deadlines from team execs remain the norm at Mastercard. Politics also prevail.

Leadership at the Pune office is biased and lacks strategic vision. The tech hub in Pune struggles to foster a strong people leadership culture. There's a lot of uncertainty around the WFH and return-to-office policies. Even in the new office, there's often no space to sit. I’ve had to return home multiple times due to lack of seating, despite being required to come in three days a week. There's no cross-program collaboration, and senior managers expect blind obedience with little regard for constructive feedback. If you challenge the status quo, you risk being targeted for dismissal. This issue is prevalent across all programs managed from Pune.

Bad in bad and so bad

- Few managers are here from ages and still carrying mentality of 2000's and make your life little hard. - But if you are placed in good project. You will enjoy.

Non supportive HR dept ... is not there to support employee problems, just protect leaderships poor toxic behavior

Wherever you go, you'll find some people who are not welcoming, have attitude. So this is not only applies to Mastercard. It applies to all companies I believe

Workload is still to heavy, despite efforts to reduce

Demanding job but it's reasonable

Hierarchy is flat hence longer promotion cycles

Slow moving, favorism/nepotism for long time Mastercard employees,

about connections and luck more than abilities

The hybrid model is very rigid, and getting your feature to production is a nightmare

Typical big company issues - slow to adopt new technologies, etc. Quality of team depends where you land

The People who leads the team are not technical,they just randomly higher the people and they don't know which technology people we are hiring and what work we should assign these people
