A lot of opportunities for passionate people wanting to save lives. Nice variety of benefits. Tons of training available if you make or have time for it.
A lot of reorgs so you never know if your department will be gone which makes it stressful. Often you do not know who does a process because the department is simply gone. There is little clarity on org charts and duties that you might find because it is too hard for people to update with all the changes that are made.
Software engineer-1

Project financial analyst
Most people I work with are great. All company events are well run. My manager's are respectful and value my input.
I’m having trouble increasing my compensation. My managers acknowledge that I’m a high performer, but I keep hearing, "you need to wait until___ amount of time" In contrast, there are team members who are significantly underperforming, and management recognizes this but doesn’t seem to take action to motivate or make changes. This situation makes me less inclined to put in extra effort, as it feels like my compensation is based on time rather than performance. I joined Motorola Solutions with an MBA and received an E5 pay grade, which is the lowest for full-time employees. I feel that my qualifications are not being valued, and I’ve been told by several colleagues that "your degree doesn't matter here."
