Great manager and team I am with
None come to mind right now
Enterprise channel account manager
So far, Motorola Solutions seems like an excellent place to work. The backup from colleagues has been fantastic. I am happy with my decision to take on employment at Motorola Solutions.
The only slight criticism I would have is that you are expected to know all the systems without instruction on how they work. I think instruction on Salesforce and other portals we need to use would go smoother with training on how to use them.
Channel sales executive
Benefits. Expense card. Mileage reimbursement. Occasional travel. Beyond that, your job itself will deteriorate your mental health.
Anti-family. No work life balance even though you’re remote. They expect you to be out in the field all the time. There are no true leadership, it’s either a lucky sales person getting all the business and have strong partners and they end up getting promoted because there are no other options, or folks getting demoted or moved around from other departments. There is no real career growth. I had 4 different managers, 3 different territories and 3 different quotas in less than 2.5 years.
Event specialist
- Work-life balance (Remote, one day in the office) - Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k match (4%), FSA, Stock Program, Flex Time Off, ergonomic-focused at home setup, PerkSpot, etc. - Tons of speaking events to learn more about the company, products, and coworkers - Accessible training portals - Can join multiple Business Councils to get involved - HQ has amazing views and great people - Different teams use different platforms (e.g. Sales uses Slack/Teams, others will use G-Suite)
- No merch/swag bag is offered during onboarding - Being remote can make it difficult to get involved
Senior software engineer
It is not a competitive environment. Everyone is always willing to help out no matter your position. The company is very flexible when it comes to benefits.
The pay could be a little more
Anonymous employee
Good people and management, take care of employees
Some departments feel understaffed with limited backup
System architect
India's Unit also followed US Culture
Indian Managers are not good. For an engineer Manager is company
Team leader
Healthy work environment; Experienced managers; Good culture; Competitive salary; Hybrid work
Workload; Very often lack of determined scope;
Gis specialist
Remote work environment cliquish groups
Management lack of honesty and forward movement
Systems engineering
Used to be a great company. Will cherish the moments I was there.
Management problems caused the downfall. Too many chiefs an not enough worker bees grinding.
