Since then, I've had the privilege of serving in various capacities—starting as a Field Solutions Engineer, advancing to a Solution Architect, and now thriving as a Senior Product Manager. This progression speaks volumes about the company's commitment to employee growth and recognition of talent. The culture at Motorola Solutions fosters innovation and encourages initiative. As a result, I've been able to contribute significantly to our product offerings, focusing on bringing forward-thinking solutions to the market. The satisfaction ratings from my peers and superiors reflect the collaborative atmosphere that empowers us to exceed expectations consistently. Motorola Solutions has also demonstrated an outstanding commitment to professional development. They've invested in my growth, providing me with opportunities to enhance my skills and knowledge through various training programs and workshops. This support has been instrumental in my ability to adapt and excel in each role I've held. But it's not just about personal growth. As with any large organization, there can be moments where processes and bureaucracy slow down innovation. However, I've found that feedback is welcomed, and channels are available to suggest improvements. The leadership team is responsive and often takes actionable steps to streamline operations.

Large open org... with lots of comms... a sense of purpose and community. Great options for purchasing leave, doing charity work and a fantastic share buy-in program.
Haven't been here long enough to find the real problems yet. Onboarding was a bit clunky - but there are specific circumstances around that.

Incident communications manager
Motorola Solutions genuinely cares about its employees, which is shamefully uncommon. I have access to excellent mentorship, honest feedback from management, and an environment where I can grow professionally. Most of the other Motorolans I work with have been with the company for many years, which says a lot. I feel truly lucky to have been given the opportunity to work for such a great company.
I honestly can't think of any serious cons. The only thing approaching a con is that it can sometimes take a while to backfill positions. I wouldn't attribute that to Motorola Solutions, though. It just takes a little longer to hire for any company of this size.
