Software engineer
Good pay, good culture, interesting work
Bad management, austerity, scrum is a bit much
Manager
Strong focus on Innovation Strong feeling of startup energy in the Cork Office
The tech that we are working with is very stable and established so making changes to running systems can be significant work
Big and stable employer, many programs inside like hackatons and volunteering. Greate atmosphere, access to many courses.
Corpo-bullshiet with trainings like how to manage date in USA if you're based in Europe. Problem with dynamic growing. Sometimes there was like too many managers that didn't know what to do. Low pay rising.
Project fulfillment manager
No complaints, great company. Awesome Benifits
Sometimes management is a bit all over the place, and the vision gets lost.
Service operations
Large, Global Company. Primary Products Support First Responders and Public Safety Most positions are Flex-Time - even if salaried.
I am an active employee - so don't expect any real "cons" to show up here. Having said that, there are no specific cons - only the standard cons of working for someone
Sr. manager, procurement
Recognition of Talent: A true meritocracy where high performance is consistently noticed and rewarded with advancement. People-First Culture: Management genuinely cares about employee well-being and treats you as a valued individual, not just a headcount. Mission-Driven Work: The opportunity to build technology that saves lives and supports first responders provides a deep sense of purpose. Strong Compensation & Benefits: Competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package that reflects the company’s investment in its people. Collaborative Environment: You get to work alongside brilliant, supportive colleagues in a professional and innovative atmosphere.
High Standards: The rewards are great, but they are earned through high-level performance and a commitment to excellence.

MSI has a great public safety mission
Health benefits are lacking and expensive. No stock options grants for most. Maybe they exist for execs? They keep messing with our salary and benefits package. First, they suspended the 401k match and merit increases for several months in response to new tariffs. Rather than raise product prices like many other companies, they chose to punish employees. After complaints, they brought back the match and offered a one-time bonus that, after taxes, was less than half of what they withheld from our 401ks - not to mention any growth it couldve seen in our portfolios. The latest 401k change is to pay out the 4% match in MSI common stock. They framed this move as a great opportunity to give employees equity in the company. Execs must think they are so much smarter than their employees and expect that no one will understand what is happening. MSI stock value has decreased 26% since sept. Im failing to see how this is a better option than contributing to my DIVERSIFIED index fund that has been experiencing consistent growth.
Good learning curve Good management Humble and Good people

Staff engineer
As a Software Architect at Prime System, my primary focus has been on driving significant technological transformation. My core contributions lie in modernizing legacy infrastructures, enhancing system security, and automating key business processes. I have successfully led initiatives to future-proof our technology stack while simplifying complex business requirements into efficient, digital-first system flows. A cornerstone of my approach is strong, collaborative leadership, as I firmly believe that the power of a unified team is the most critical factor in achieving long-term success.
Coming from a purely software background, it has been a challenge for me to understand all the regulatory rules and lab processes required to design the system architecture. It is time-consuming and requires constant alignment with the lab manager to ensure the system process flow is correct.
Delivery management manager
Supportive team but room for improvement, friendly colleagues & a positive work environment, good atmosphere & helpful international team, flexible working hours
Internal communication could be improved. The compensation is not as satisfying as it is presented by the company.
