Sr. staff cybersecurity engineer
Management is great and it has been a great company to work for.
I have no real complaints
Finance manager
- Good culture, benefits, team members, flexibility
- General lack of direction/training was felt - Salary was not competitive - Very few career opportunities
Software engineering tech lead/manager
- Encouraging curiosity - throughout my days I was encouraged, not discouraged, to ask questions. Some were simple, some were naive but some were breakthrough. - Leadership by example - most of the leaders I have had the pleasure of meeting have been inspirational, authentic and they lead by example. - Innovation - resources, access to the right people and time were secured. I couldn't have imagined that I would have 8 patents pursued that fast!
Not aware of any major disadvantages
Program manager
The company is constantly acquiring new companies which is exciting but also very challenging for product overlay and being successful in executing anything to full completion. Benefits are awesome. Unlimited PTO but no one abuses it, its a good balance for trying to get things done with your peers.
SO much red tape. Might be the only reason I would leave. Impossible to do my job on some days.
Channel sales executive
Great team, mission, and product
Can be challenging based on territory and success is dependent upon channel partners.
Senior scrum master
My time at Motorola Solutions was genuinely positive—everyone was kind, and I felt supported even after my departure. While I was laid off without a clear explanation, I couldn’t help but notice that others who joined after me remained employed. It’s difficult not to wonder if favoritism played a role in that decision.
The layoff felt unexpected and a bit underhanded—especially since I wasn’t offered a transfer to another team. What surprised me even more was the silence afterward. Not a single colleague reached out to check on me, not even my manager. It’s a tough reminder: work friendships don’t always extend beyond the office. You live, you learn, and you keep moving forward.
Feature manager
Great place to work culture. Lots of team building sessions, celebrations and farewells. Open door culture where you can express your opinions. Relatively flat org process wise where teams are empowered to resolve issues at the team level. Good passdown communication from town halls or department meetings. Good benefits and even redundancy packages. Solid processes where six sigma was pioneered.
Can be more dynamic with roadmaps and forecasted planning for better visibility at team level.
Software engineer
Everyone on my team and manager are great and very helpful, Great learning environment
I was hired for a position but after finishing that project, I had to work on a completely different project that was not my expertise
Support service consultant
I'm always motivated and enthusiastic about my activities. My managers are always ready to help and work together to find solutions.
I don't see any negative points.
Anonymous employee
Good flexible environment. Leadership is good
Salary can be below industry standards
